How We Serve
Scholarship
The Casey Schulman Scholarship awards students who have persevered through serious challenges—poverty, health issues, bullying, racism—and yet still lift others up along the way. These young leaders embody Casey’s spirit of kindness and determination and receive support as they pursue higher education.
Events
Through our signature programs—Shine On Week, the Thankful 5K, Swim-a-Thons, and our Golf Tournament—we bring Casey’s legacy alive. These community-driven events foster joy, connection and service in her memory.

The Casey Schulman Foundation was started as a non-profit foundation in 2014 with the mission of awarding a college scholarship to Justice High School students who would carry on the kindness, positivity and interest in the world around them as Casey Schulman had done in her lifetime.
These students are representatives of the foundation for their intellectual motivation and their concern and interest in helping others.
Since the inception of the scholarship, we started Shine On; community-led volunteer programs that work in tandem with the scholarship, and is now a symbiotic part of the foundation.
